Fantastic pub, the hearty breakfast kept us going all day and the friendly staff. Its proximity to Leeds Bradford International Airport made our travel logistics seamless.

The fine view from the large first-floor room was a highlight, complemented by a comfortable mattress and lovely linen. Breakfast was a noteworthy experience, generous and delicious, with friendly service, made the mornings pleasant. Although I'm accustomed to ensuite facilities, the arrangement of a washbasin in the room with bathroom access across the landing was not an inconvenience at all. The option for an early breakfast was great for our hiking plans.

Cozy atmosphere with a crackling log fire inviting you in from the cold. The shared bathrooms, while communal, felt surprisingly clean and well-maintained were good.
Showers left a bit to be desired, with unpredictability in water temperature and an overly loose shower head leading to fumbling. The step down from the bathroom struck me as a bit of a hazard without a handrail, something that could catch you off guard in the darkness of early morning. Mattress comfort ranged from decent to lackluster, which might not suit every traveler, especially after a long day on your feet.

A lovely quaint pub with friendly staff offering a generous breakfast. The location in the charming village was perfect, but the décor was slightly dated, and noisy guests could be heard at night. A nice stay worth revisiting.
